News Article/Current Event -
- Facebook Helps Save 4 Neglected Dogs - Yay for caring people!! Boo to people that are cold enough to abuse animals.
- Controversial Art Removed from National Gallery - Wow. Isn't art completely subjective?! When did we start letting religious homophobes start deciding what can and can't be displayed? Absolutely, completely and totally ridiculous.
- For the Love of God, Move Over People! - FO SHO!! If only more people read this and obeyed. *sigh*
Current Obsession -
I am completely and utterly obsessed with Pixiwoo! For anyone who has never heard of them, go directly here, watch the tutorials and be obsessed with me. They are amazing!! On a related note, I'm also obsessed with trying to track down and purchase the new Urban Decay "Naked" palette - it's sold out and I may die if I do not get my hands on one soon. Hitting the mall on Friday; hopefully I'll score.
What I'm Looking Forward to in the Week Ahead -
Thursday night is date night with the hubster and he's taking me out for pho! It's my treat for being patient and not annoying him last Sunday while he worked on junk for The Dub Shop. Sweet!!
Seriously, how cute is this kid?! |
They were down visiting from Alaska for Thanksgiving, so I haven't gotten to see her too much for the past couple of weeks. I've missed her MUCHO!! In honor of our joyous reunion, we're gonna hit the mall and do some damage!! Well, probably not too much damage, but a reasonable amount I'm sure. ;)
Saturday is shaping up to be friends and family day. All of my most favorite people in one place! WOOHOO! We're all getting together for breakfast at The Maltby Cafe (not Weight Watchers approved. Shhhhh...) then we're heading back up to Snohomish to cut Christmas trees. Should be a good time; pictures to come.
Weight Update - I'm down 42 pounds since I started WW in June and can now fit into my high school homecoming/prom dresses. Don't know where or when I would ever need to wear them, but it's still pretty cool! 58 pounds to go, then body lift and boob job here I come!
Neato Quote of the Week - Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing, moving at different speeds. A sense of humor is just common sense, dancing. - William James
And Finally, My Gripe - This week's gripe is about my dermatologist. How hard is it to call in a prescription refill?! Four days. REALLY?! Ugh. And a minor added gripe; it's Seattle, people. Learn to drive in the friggin' rain already!
